Cobalion meets Dialga

The Pokemon moved silently, jumping from rock to rock. It arrived at the ruins, and looked around silently.

Dialga appeared in the cave, surprised to see Cobalion so far from Unova. "What brings you to Sinnoh?" he rumbled, his voice echoing throughout the cave. "And more importantly, to the sacred mountain of Time and Space." His tone was normal.

"Can't someone say hi, Lord Dialga?" Cobalion answered in a rather amused tone.

Dialga sniffed dryly. "I suppose so." He paced on the ledge he stood apon, appearing bothered. His steel claws scraped the rock. He paused and looked at the younger pokemon. "You have heard of Team Galactic, no?" he asked in a low tone.

Cobalion blinked and gave a slight nod. "I've been informed of them, yes."

The dragon's tail lashed. "They have stolen so many from my region! And I do not know where they keep them." He Smashed a boulder with his claws. "What kind of creator and guardian of a region lets that happen?" he growled furiously.

Cobalion laughed silently. "You are pretty bad, aren't you, Lord Dialga?"

His eyes glowed with red fury. "Do not start this in my own domain." He stared into Cobalion's eyes, his anger seeming to pulse and make the air ripple. Energy radiated from his diamond-studded chest, from some unknown source. "Do not drive me any farther." He looked away. "I have not heard a word from Giratina. It seems like he doesn't even care."

"Well, you obviously want me to express self pity. And frankly, I just cannot." Cobalion murmured.

Dilaga released a much-needed rumbling sigh. "No. I don't, actually. Can we not share news? You know all regions have their own trouble."

Cobalion seemed to shrug. "Well, Plasma isn't so bad. At least they don't want to hurt us.."

The time-dragon thought for a moment. "I should have said that more appropriately. They use my subjects as slaves; to harness their energy and give their own pokemon new power. I must say, sometimes it worries me. But for now, any conflict with them is impossible." Dialga was almost sure he'd heard the familiar rather shrill roar in the distance. "I must go." His body fizzed, and disappeared into nothingness, returning him to his unknown dimension of Time.
